Gail Ivon Garrett Webb, age 59 of Mount Pleasant died Saturday, May 5, 2012 at a Batesville hospital. She was born November 22, 1952 at Batesville, Arkansas to Vernon and Violet Ailene Johnson Garrett. She was a beautician and enjoyed cooking and genealogy. She was a member of the Mount Pleasant Southern Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school for the youth. She was preceded in death by her parents and a step-daughter. Survivors include her husband of 30 years, Rick Webb of the home, a step-son Brandon Webb and wife Holly of Evening Shade, a brother Nolan Garrett of Batesville, two sisters, Karen Martin of Batesville and Kathy Garrett of Oklahoma, two step grandchildren, Haley Ables and Jordan Ables both of Evening Shade, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the Mount Pleasant Southern Baptist Church with Bro. Bruce Qualls officiating. Burial will follow in the Wackerly Cemetery located near Jamestown with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 8, 2012 form 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Pallbearers are Rob Webb, David Webb, Josh Webb, Joey Webb, Jerry Dale, Junior Thatch, Bill Savell, Stephen Garrett and Keith Rogers. Honorary pallbearers are all her nieces and nephews.
