Emma Irene Harsley

Emma Irene Harsley, age 85 of Mountain View went to be with our Lord Saturday, May 5, 2012 at the Stone County Medical Center. She was born September 16, 1926 in New Albany, Indiana to George Thomas and Lottie Marie Eller Cochran. She was a member of the Church of Living God in Mountain View. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Louis F. Harlsey, five brothers and sisters. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law Lois and Gary Fritz of Mountain View, Teresa and Ken Harvey of Greers Ferry, a daughter, Marylin Hughes, a sister Mary Erb of New Albany, Indiana, seven grandchildren, seventeen great grand children and one great great grandchild. Our “Mom & Grandma” was know for her feisty spirit and loving heart. Her faith and family were what she lived for and while she will be greatly missed; she will never be forgotten.
