Armando Collazo

Armando Plaza Collazo, 81, of Batesville died Monday, July 9, 2007 at the White River Medical Center in Batesville. He was born on June 5, 1926 at Adjuntas, Puerto Rico to Ramon Plaza and Ramona Collazo. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force having served during the Korean Conflict. He was of the Catholic Faith.He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers; and two sisters.Survivors include his wife, Iris Vazquez of the home; one son, Wilson Plaza of San Antonio, Texas; one daughter, Wilma Plaza of Batesville; two sisters, Rosa Ferris and Eda Plaza both of Puerto Rico; two grandchildren, Ivan Rodarta and Samantha Rodarta both of Batesville; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.Memorial services will be held at a later date.
