Floy Wilf Altom

Floy Wilf Altom age 83 of Batesville died Saturday October 27, 2007 at the White River Medical Center in Batesville. She was born April 18, 1924 at Floral, Arkansas to Albert and Ina (Bickers) Wilf. She was a retired business owner having owned Ye Olde Frame Shoppe in Batesville. She had also worked for Heuer's Shoe Store, Monday's Shoe Store and Sears all in Batesville. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Batesville.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Nolan Vernon Altom, five brothers, Jake Wilf, Leo Wilf, Harold Wilf, Lacy Wilf and an infant brother, three sisters, Gladys Wilf, Helen Burress and an infant sister.Survivors include one son, Larry Altom of Jamestown, two granddaughters, Virginia Cruse of Greers Ferry and Vanessa Thurber of New Orleans, LA, two great granddaughters, Hannah Cruse and Katie Cruse both of Greers Ferry, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
