Claude C. Harris

Claude C. Harris, age 92 of Strawberry died Wednesday October 31, 2007 at the Woodlawn Nursing Home in Batesville. He was born November 18, 1914 at Strawberry, Arkansas to Sam L. and Sidney (Richardson) Harris. He was a retired farmer.He was preceded in death by his parents,three brothers Austin Harris, Claxton Harris and Garland Harris and one sister Pearl Godwin.Survivors include his wife Florine (Huskey) Harris of the home, one son Larry Harris of Strawberry, one daughter Phyllis Harris of Strawberry, five grandchildren Kevin Harris of Cave City, Kim McDermott of Mountain Home, Shane Watts of Strawberry, Tally Scott of Batesville and Tanya Haigwood of Newport, nine great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.Pallbearers will be Jared Harris, Levi Watts, R. A. Wright, Robert Northcutt, Kelly McDermott and Randall Northcutt.Honorary pallbearers are Elbert Gay, Jerry Harris, Patty Huskey, Deborah Randolph, Kenny Lewallen and Billy Runyan.
