Michael Noil Walker age 40 of Spring Hill, Kansas (formerly of Brockwell) died Friday November 9, 2007 at Spring Hill, Kansas. He was born March 3, 1967 at Batesville, Arkansas to Osburn and Marie (Taylor) Walker. He received his Bachelors Degreee in 1988 and his Masters Degree in Counseling in 1993 from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro and was a National Board Certified Counselor. He was a school counselor for the Kansas City Missouri School District. He was a geneology researcher and was editor and publisher of the Izard County Pioneer Times. He was a 32nd Degree Mason a Shriner and a member of the Church of Christ.He was preceded in death by his father, Osburn Walker and one daughter, Alana Walker.Survivors include his mother, Marie Obbards of Brockwell, three brothers, Richard Blevins of Pleasant Plains, Fred Walker and John Walker and one sister, Linda Edwards all of Brockwell, several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.Funeral services will begin Saturday, November 17, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at the Oxford Church of Christ located at Oxford with Tom Harris officiating. Burial will follow in the Violet Hill Cemetery located at Voilet Hill with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville.No visitation is planned.Pallbearers will be Alan Sherrell, Max Williams, Alan Estes, Luther Yancey, Jerry Blevins and Doc Warden.
