Sammie Dee Thompson

Sammie Dee Thompson age 77 of Evening Shade died Monday December 3, 2007 at the White River Medical Center in Batesville. He was born March 2, 1930 at Fort Gibson, OK to Samuel D. and Bertha (Barnett) Thompson. He was a U. S. Army veteran, a retired chemical engineer for Phillips Petroleum in Borger, TX and was a member of the Evening Shade United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents.Survivors include several cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.Honorary pallbearers are members of the Batesville Area Civil War Round Table
