Della Ruth Perkey

Della Ruth Perkey age 67 of Cave City died Wednesday December 12, 2007 at the White River Medical Center in Batesville. She was born September 5, 1940 at Cave City, Arkansas to Samuel Lewis and Jewel Mabel Hutchison. She was a homemaker and of the Protestant faith.She was preceded in death by her parents, one son Randy Perkey, one brother Fred Estes Hutchison, one sister Florene Goldman and one nephew Jerry Perkey.Survivors include her husband of forty-nine and a half years Ray Perkey of the home, four sons Gary Perkey, Ricky Perkey, Nathan Perkey and Alvin Perkey all of Cave City, one brother Raymond Hutchison of Cave City, two sisters Oretha Perkey of Cave City and Ruthel Shirley of St. Louis, MO, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.Funeral services will begin Saturday December 15, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Bro. Allen Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the Palestine Cemetery located west of Cave City with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.Visitation will be Friday December 14, 2007 from 5:30 until 8:00 p.m.Pallbearers will be Bud Justice, Howard Abernathy, Bobby Mahan, Jermey Justice, Roy Jean Felts and Terry Justice.Honorary pallbearers are Charles Hayslip and Daniel Johnson.
