Marriel Lenora Brown age 49 of Evening Shade died Monday December 24, 2007 at her home. She was born January 21, 1958 at Norfolk, Virginia to Albert L. and Mildred (Martin) Brown. She was a nurse for 25 years. She loved helping people and her patients came first. She loved to travel, visiting junk stores, gardening and her cats. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of the Eastern Star Chapter 511 in Cave City.Survivors include her parents, Albert L. and Mildred Brown of Cave City, two brothers, Morgan B. Brown and his wife Mary of Ephesus, Georgia and Dana Brown of Cave City, four aunts, Faye Lutts and her husband Billy of Carthadge, Mississippi, Leola Bussell of Waycrosse, Georgia, Mildred Snow of Rebecca, Georgia and Miyako Martin of Lakeworth, Florida, one uncle Lyndolph Martin and his wife Jimmie of Florence, Mississippi and a host of cousins and friends.Funeral service will begin Friday December 28, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Bro. John Griffin officiating. Burial will follow in the Maxville Cemetery located north of Cave City with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.Visitation will begin Thursday December 27, 2007 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.Pallbearers will be Dana Brown, Morgan Brown, Mike Lassiter, Austin Christopher,Robert Marin, Charles Clinton and Jeff Clinton.
