Jimmy Dale Bristow age 65 of Cave City died Sunday January 6, 2008 at his home. He was born December 21, 1942 at Ash Flat, Arkansas to Samuel Tillman and Sarah Irene (Roberts) Bristow. He was a United States Army veteran having served in Vietnam, a mechanic for Cave City School and of the Church of Christ faith.He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Leonard 'Bill' Bristow.Survivors include his wife Inez (Mobley) Bristow of the home, one son Byron Bristow of Cav eCity, one granddaughter Madison Kate Bristow of Cord Charlotte, two brothers Gordon Bristow and Junior Bristow both of Cave City, five sisters Minnie Estes, Derlene Rogers and Donna Ables all of Cav eCity, Betty Goodman of Evening Shade and Bessie Sue Booth of Salem, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.Funeral services will begin Wednesday January 9, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Missionary Baptist Church in Cave City with Bro. Wayne Goodman officiating. Burial will follow in the Maxville Cemetery located north of Cave City with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.Visitation will begin Tuesday January 8, 2008 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the First Missionary Baptist Church in Cave City.Pallbearers will be Richard Penn, Charlie Clinton, Tom Penn, Pete Ring, Ronnie Ashley, Russell Fowler, Eddie Turner, David Hall, Rudy Powell and Ed Turnbough.
