Kathey Ellene Barrett age 50 of Quitman died Thursday, January 24, 2008 at her home. She was born November 25, 1957 in Tennessee to Robert Leonard Lee and Maud Ardena (Adams) Rainey. She was a homemaker.She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Robert Monroe Rainey, Ansel Everett Rainey and Charles Dougla Rainey, seven sisters, Mary Ellen Woodham, Dorothy Lee Walker, Barbara Joann Reed, Johnnie Ruth Abernathy, Gladys Rainey, Jones Rainey and Aneta Rainey.Survivors include her husband, Leonard Barrett of the home, two daughters, Cristy Layton of Alaska and Misty Sasai of Leesburg, Virginia, one brother Don Rainey of Violet Hill, five grandsons, six granddaughters, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.Graveside services will begin Wednesday January 30, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the Reeves Cemetery near Guion. Arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville.Visitation will begin Tuesday January 29, 2008 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m.Honorary pallbearers are Andrew Sasai, Patrick Sasai, James Sasai and Kirkland Layton.
