Eleanor Anderson McDougal, age 78 of Stanton, Tennessee (formerly of Russell, Arkansas)died Friday February 29, 2008 at a Brownsville, Tennessee hospital. She was born September 27, 1929 at Cave City, Arkansas to Fred and Ella Taylor Anderson. She was a homemaker, a member of the Quilting Guild in Memphis and a member of the Quilting Guild in Memphis and a member of the Christ United Methodist Church in Memphis.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Cecil Loyal McDougal and a sister, Barbara Anderson Neighbours.Survivors include three daughters, Teresa McDougal of Scott, Arkansas, Freda Barnett of Damascus, Arkansas and Nannett McDougal-Dykes of Stanton, Tennessee, one brother, Everette Lee Anderson Bald Know, one sister Gwen Battles of Sidney, four grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.Funeral services will begin Monday March 3, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Bro. David Wesley officiating. Burial will follow in the Sullivan Cemetery located at Calamine with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.Visitation will begin Sunday March 2, 2008 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.Pallbearers will be Phil Barnett, Tim Battles, Con Battles and John Quimby.Honorary pallbearers are Jim Neighbours, Johnny Battles and Billy Knight.
