Laverne Hall

Laverne Hall, age 76 of Batesville died Saturday, March 8, 2008 at theWhite River Medical Center in Batesville. She was born October 17, 1931 at Frisco City, Alabama to Erskin and Olymphia Akins Ward. She was a homemaker, retired from the White River Medical Center in Batesville and of the Baptist fiath.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Leon J. Hall, one son, Michael Hall, one brother, Earl Ward and two sisters, Nora Blackmon and Agnes Guieldry.Survivors include one son, Larry Hall of Atlanta, Georgia, three daughters, Kathy Hawkins and Linda Hedler both of BAtesivlle and Lisa Willis of Mountain Home, one brother Donald Ward of Pensacola, Florida, two sisters, Melba Hollingsworth and Merle Sanks, both of Bay Minette, Alabama, eighteen grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.Funeral services will begin Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the Vine Stree Missionary Baptist Church located in Batesville with Bro. Larry Travis officiating. Burial will follow in the Campground Cemetery located in Bethesda with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville.Visitation will begin Monday, March 10, 2008 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.Pallbearers will be Chris Hedler, Jason Hedler, John Hedler, Matthew King, Derrick Hawkins and Timothy Hawkins.Honorary pallbearers are Derrell hawkins, Bob Willis and Bob Hedler.
