Pearl Petree

Pearl Rounds Petree, age 86 of Batesville died Monday, April 7, 2008 at the Wood Lawn Nursing Home in Batesville. She was born March 9, 1922 at Sulphur Rock, Arkansas to Elisha and Nancy (Smith) Rounds. She was a homemaker and of the Cumberland Presbyterian faith.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Claude Petree, five brothers, Henry Rounds, Frank Rounds, WIlliam Rounds, Hubert Rounds and Jack Rounds, eight sisters Nancy Langston, Delia Ross, Jewell Ross, Eula Moore, Emma Melton, Rachel Hix, Myrtle Lancaster and Maude Minard.Survivors include two sons, Randy Petree and Rickey Petree both of Batesville, one sister Lois Penn of Batesville, four grandchildren, Chris Petree of Searcy, Rhonda Gilbert of Batesville, Chad Petree of Ash Flat and Kari Jones of Batesville, ten great grandchildren, one great grandchild, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.Graveside services will begin Wednesday, April 9, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the Egner Cemtery located at Salado with Jimmy Don Bales officiating. Arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville.Visitation will begin Tuesday April 8, 2008 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.
