Jack Vickers age 57 of Salem died Monday April 7, 2008 at the White River Medical Center in Batesville. He was born March 17, 1951 at Marcella, Arkansas to Henry Ford and Eula Gean Rollins Vickers. He enjoyed playing horseshoes, fishing and was employed by Townsends in Batesville. He was of the Free Will Baptist faith.He was preceded in death by his parents.Survivors include his wife, Beverly Strauser Vickers of the home, one daughter, Michelle Vickers Keasler of Batesville, four sons, Brian Vickers of Batesville, Shawn Keasler of Cave City, James Keasler of Batesville and Charles Dunn of Cave City, two brothers, Larry Vickers of Marcella and Jerry Vickers of Newark, nine granddaughters, two grandsons, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.Funeral services will begin Thursday, April 10, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City. Burial will follow in the Mount View Cemetery located east of Cave City with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.Visitation will begin Wednesday April 9, 2008 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.Pallbearers will be Darrell White, Norman Williamson, Bill Patterson, Frankie Abernathy, Kenny Smith and Jim Dixon.Honorary pallbearers are Tony Watson and Jerry Smith
