Robert William Litaker

Robert William 'Earl' Litaker age 87 of Floral died Wednesday April 23, 2008 at the White River Medical Center in Batesville. He was born August 15, 1920 in Cleburne County to Bunt and Altie (Gay) Litaker. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran, a retired farmer and of the Baptist faith.He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Gladys Christine Litaker, one son, Norman Lee Litaker, one half brother, Albert Butler and one half sister, Minnie Bell Webster.Survivors include three sons, John Litaker, Roy Litaker and Ray Litaker all of Floral, four half brothers, Roby Lee Butler of Batesville, Lynn Walker of Bald Knob, Jerry Walker of Concord and Dean Walker of Cabot, one half sister, Beatrice Clouse of Jonesboro, eleven grandchildren, twenty two great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.Graveside services will begin Friday April 25, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at the Cedar Grove Cemetery located near Floral. Arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville. Visitation will begin Thursday April 24, 2008 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.
