Arthur Duncan Sr.

Arthur Duncan Sr., age 72 of Lee's Summit, Missouri died Sunday, May 11, 2008 at his home. He was born October 25, 1935 at Batesville, Arkansas to Grady and Maudie (Bales) Duncan. He was a U. S. Air Force veteran and of the Pentecostal faith.He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Earl Ray Duncan.Survivors include one son Art Duncan of Springfield, Missouri, one daughter Linda Bieri of Kansas City, Missouri, one sister Wanda Duncan of Jonesboro, four grandchildren Becket Duncan and Bellamy Duncan both of Springfield, Missouri and Ashley Long and Kristen Bieri both of Kansas City, Missouri, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.Funeral services will begin Friday, May 16, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel with Bro. Billy Huff officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery located near Cushman with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville.Visitation will begin Thursday, May 15, 2008 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.Pallbearers will be his nephews.
