Altha Fay Frazier, age 86 of Cave City died Wednesday, July 9, 2008 at the White River Medical Center in Batesville. She was born November 4, 1921 in Lebanon, Missouri the last of eight children of Jacob and Rachel Varner Detherow. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Missionary Baptist Church in Cave City.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Elmer Frazier, four brothers, Clarence Detherow, Leonard Detherow, Melvin Detherow and Everette Detherow and five sisters, Alma Barnes, Mina Jernigan, Ora Pectol, Dorothy Detherow and Jesse Phillips.Survivors include three sons, Chuck Frazier of Hot Springs, Don Frazier of Sherwood and Richard Frazier of Maumelle, one daughter, Brenda Frazier Owen of Weatherford, Texas, six grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.Funeral services will begin Saturday, July 12, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Missionary Baptist Church in Cave City with Bro. Wayne Goodman officiating. Burial will follow in the Cave City Cemetery located in Cave City with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.Vistation will begin Friday, July 11, 2008 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.Pallbearers will be Chuck Frazier Jr., Mike Frazier, Shane Frazier, Chris Frazier, Justin Frazier and Vince Frazier.
