Ottie Mae Neal age 97 of Cave City died Monday August 11, 2008 at the Cave City Nursing Home in Cave City. She was born February 12, 1911 at New Albany, Kansas to Authur T. and Maggie (Crain) Wright. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Assembly of God in Cave City. She served as a missionary in the Kentucky Mountains during the 1930's and pioneered a church in Henderson, Kentucky. She was also a founding member of the Harvest Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert Neal, two brothers, Authur Wright and Carl Wright and three sisters, Corine Townsend, Mary Townsend and Leta Poteet.Survivors include one son, Donald Neal of Sulphur Springs, Texas, three daughters, Sue Shockey of Quitman, Texas, Barbara Hastings of Sandtown, Arkansas and Donna Johnson of Davao City, Phillipines, one sister, Leona Benigas of Shinnstown, West Virginia, ten grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, ten step-grandchildren, one great great grandchild, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.Funeral services will begin Wednesday August 13, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Bro. Bobby Sanders officiating. Graveside services will be Friday August 15, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at the Forest Park Cemetery in Greenville, Texas with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.Visitation will begin Tuesday August 12, 2008 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Ladies Missionary Council at First Assembly of God in Cave City.
