Nellie Savannah Weaver Burge Goodwin

Nellie Savannah Weaver Burge Goodwin, age 86 of Cave City died Wednesday, August 27, 2008 at the Cave City Nursing Home. She was born September 28, 1921 at Sulphur Rock, Arkansas to Logan Garfield and Jessie S. (Holmes) Weaver. She was retired from Gen Corp Automotive and a member of the First Missionary Baptist Church in Cave City. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Cleo Burge, her second husband Mark Goodwin, three brothers J. R. Weaver, Bill Weaver and Marcus Weaver and three sisters Virginia Burge, Cornelia Hutchison and Monnie Moran.Survivors include one son, Ron Burge and wife Jeanetta of Cave City, two daughters Wilma Burge Trout and husband (Bob) of Star City, Renda Burge Reynolds of Batesville, three brothers Billy Joe Weaver of Little Rock, Arlis Ray Weaver of Newark and Donald Lee Weaver of Eureka Springs, two sisters Imogene Sharp of Marked Tree and Bonnie Dean Rainbolt of Magness, eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.Funeral services will begin Friday, August 29, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. at the First Missionary Baptist Church in Cave City with Bro. Ron Canard and Bro. Wayne Goodman officiating. Burial will follow in the Cave City Cemetery with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.Visitation will begin Thursday, August 28, 2008 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.Pallbearers will be Ronnie Gene Burge, Zachery Tate, Levi Burge, Adam Trout, Jason Trout and Bobby Johnson.
