Phyllis Shorrock, age 74 of Evening Shade, formerly of Lehigh Acres, Florida died Saturday, September 13, 2008 at her home. She was born April 15, 1934 at Muncie, Indiana. She was a nurse, president of the Ladies Auxillary IAM Union Local # 368, past president of the Fraternal Order of Eagles # 3938 and a a member of the VFW and American Legion. She was of the Catholic faith.She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.Survivors include her husband Theodore 'Ted' Shorrock, one son Alan Shorrock and wife Madonna of South Alabama, one daughter Leslie Cunningham and husband Roy of Blakely, Georgia, eight grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.Graveside services will begin Wednesday, September 17, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the Evening Shade Cemetery located in Evening Shade with Chaplain Lester Lee Hendrix officiating. Arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.Visitation will be Wednesday, September 17, 2008 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home chapel in Cave City.
