Julia Lurece Rhew

Julia Lurece Rhew, age 87 of Pleasant Plains died Monday, September 29, 2008 at her home. She was born April 27, 1921 at Denmark, Arkansas to Luther and Sallie (Solida) Cross. She was a homemaker and a member of Independence Missionary Baptist Church in Pleasant Plains.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband John Rhew and one sister Ilene Rhew.Survivors include two sons, Bobby Rhew of Pleasant Plains and Paul Rhew of Dixon, Missouri, 7 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, a few nieces and a host of other relatives and friends.Funeral services will begin Wednesday, October 1, 2008 at 2:00 p.m at the Independence Missionary Baptist Church in Pleasant Plains with Bro. Brad Roberts and Bro. Wesley Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in the Cross Cemetery located at Denmark with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville.Visitation will be Tuesday, September 30. 2008 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.Pallbearers will be Michael Rhew, Ron Rhew, Joey Rhew, Terry Rhew, Terry Bell and Bobby Manor.Memorials may be made to Independence Missionary Baptist Church, P.O.
