Lonnie Ray Barks, age 50 of Drasco died Thursday, October 9, 2008 at Drasco.He was born May 11, 1958 at Fisher, Arkansas to Junior and Edith Caldwell Barks. He was a farmer.He was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife Belinda Barks.Survivors include his wife Kim Barks of Drasco, one son Jarret Barks of Jonesboro, one daughter Mendy Sparks of Wynne, one brother Roger Asher of Newport, two sisters Winnie Brownderville of Weiner and Carolyn Debow of Batesville, two grandchildren Andrew Tackett and Cassidy Tackett, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.Graveside services will begin Wednesday, October 15, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the Oak Grove Cemetery located in Weiner. Arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville.No visitation is planned.
