Pansye Jean Jones

Pansye Jean (Parsley) Jones, age 94 of Batesville died Friday, October 24, 2008 at the White River Medical Center in Batesville. She was born April 7, 1914 in the Pleasant Hill Commmunity near Magnolia to William Dorsett and Melissa Ann (Alder) Parsley. She was retired from the U. S. Geological Survey in Little Rock and was a secretary for the Department of Navy in Washington D. C. for many years. She was a member of the Amboy Baptist church in North Little Rock.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Marvin Jones, three brothers George Parsley, Minor Parsley and Wade Parsley adn three sisters, Joy Brashers, Myrth Hunt and an infant sister.Survivors include four nieces and three nephews, many great nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.Funeral services will begin Monday, October 27, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel in Batesville with Bro. Grayden Milligan officiating. Burial will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Batesville with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville.Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until service time.
