Darrell Harris, age 82 of Strawberry died Wednesday, November 12, 2008 at Cave City. He was born July 8, 1926 in Lawrence County to Lawrence Utah and Lille Mae (Richey) Harris. He was a farmer and an avid coon hunter.He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Margie Marietta Harris and one granddaughter, Kesha Harris.Survivors include two sons, Carrol David Harris of Cave City and Harold Dean Harris of Strawberry, two daughters, Jeanette Turner of Cave City and Marietta Ann Harris of Camp, two sisters, Darlene Foushee of Cave City and Wanda Hardin of Jonesboro, nine grandchildren,James Turner of Cave City, Travis Turner of Charlotte, Amber Haliwinski of Nashville of Nashville, TN, Kylie Harris and Lexi Harris both of Walnut Ridge, Michael Harris of Beloit, WI, Morgan Harris of Strawberry, Eric Huskey of Lynn and Katie Davis of Strawbery, seven great grandchildre, Hunter Davis and Houston Davis both of Strawberry, Whitney Turner, Hailey Turner and Lacey Turner all of Cave City, Blain Turner of Charlotte and Harper Eden Haliwinski of Nashville, TN, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.Funeral services will begin Saturday, November 15, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at the Mount View Missionary Baptist Church located east of Cave City with Bro. Vance Penn officiating. Burial will follow in the Ward Cemetery located at Strawberry with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.Visitation will begin Friday, November 14, 2008 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.Pallbearers will be James Turner, Travis Turner, Eric Huskey, Bob Matty, Eric Davis and Wesley Foushee.Honorary pallbearers are Billy Saffell, Maynard Richey, F. K. Willmuth, Marvin Kirby, Robert Goodwin, Murphy Willmuth and Larry Rainwater.
