Fay Hester Doolin Courtney

Fay Hester Doolin Courtney age 86 of Batesville died Saturday November 22, 2008 at the White River Medical Center in Batesville. She was born September 12, 1922 at Oneal, Arkansas to Elijah Vernon and Sena Mae Lynch Hester. She was a homemaker and a member of the Ruddell Hill Baptist Church.She was preceded in death by her parents, three husbands, J.M. Doolin, Kenneth Bales and Alfred Courtney and one daughter, Anna Farrier.Survivors include one son, Bill Doolin of Mountain View, three daughters, Shirley Rivers of Archie, Missouri, Jane Crabtree of Benton and Patty Baker of Hensley, seventeen grandchildren, twenty-nine great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.Funeral services will begin Tuesday November 25, 2008 at 10:00 a.m.at the Ruddell Hill Baptist Church with Burrell Crabtree officiating. Burial will follow in the Campground Cemetery located at Bethesda with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville.Visitation will begin Monday November 24, 2008 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.Pallbearers will be Grant Doolin, Jerry Crabtree, David Farrier, Mike Garrison, Jessie Baker and Tim Farrier.
