Billie Jean Satterwhite

Billie Jean Satterwhite age 76 of Batesville died Sunday November 30, 2008 at her home. She was born March 30, 1932 at Newport, Arkansas to Willie Abner and Mabel Taylor Gartland. She was a homemaker and a member of the Pilgrims Rest Baptist Church at Bethesda.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John Satterwhite, one half sister, Patsy Faulkenberry and one step brother, Walker Faulkenberry. Survivors include one son, Rickey Preston Satterwhite of Tulsa, Oklahoma; one daughter, Julia Ann Satterwhite of Batesville; one sister, June Ward of Tyler, Texas; one step brother Bud Faulkenberry of Sand Springs, Oklahoma; six grandchildren, six great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.A private burial was held at the New Hope Cemetery with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville.
