Rosalie Crumley Thomas

Rosalie Crumley Thomas, age 83 of Desha died Thursday, January 8, 2009 at her home. She was born June 11, 1925 at Cave City, Arkansas to Charles Emmitt and Naomi Mobley Crumley. She was a homemaker and a member of the Desha United Methodist Church.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Coy Thomas and five brothers, Clyde Crumley, Leonard Crumley, Ralph Crumley, Alfred Crumley and Noble Crumley.Survivors include one son Ron Thomas of Batesville, one daughter, Patricia Lee Thomas of Desha, two grandsons, Shawn Thomas and Joshua Thomas both of Batesville, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.Funeral services will begin Saturday, January 10, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at the Desha United Methodist Church with James Wheeler officiating. Burial will follow in the Alderbrook Cemetery located at Desha with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville.Visitation will begin Friday, January 9, 2009 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.Pallbearers will be Dale Simpson, Lavaughn 'Shorty' Coles, Van D. Sawyer, Jerry Harmon, Rocky Don Sutton and Brandon Fuller.Honorary pallbearers are Dr. James Harbin and Dennis Morrison.
