Ron E. Wilder, age 57 of Batesville died Sunday, February 1, 2009 at the White River Medical Center in Batesville. He was born July 21, 1951 at Fort Smith, Arkansas to Nathaniel Franklin Wilder Sr. and Thelma Ladd Wilder. He was a Senior Project Engineer for Con Agra Foods in Batesville and also owner and co-founder of Demented Toyz Custom Cars in Batesville. He was a member of the West Baptist Church in Batesville.He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters, Joy Lawrence, Francis Gram and Pat Geels.Survivors include his wife, Joy Wilder of the home, three sons, Jason Wilder of Scoffield Barracks, Hawaii, Josh Wilder of Batesville and Joseph Wilder of Conway, one daughter, Sarah Moody of Sulphur Rock, two brothers, Terry Wilder of Springdale and N. F. Wilder Jr. of Fayetteville, three sisters, Christina Wilder of Springdale, Betty Jackson of Lowell and Shirley Burnett of Cleveland, Ohio, seven grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.Funeral services will begin Saturday, February 7, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the West Baptist Church in Batesville with Bro. Bob Dailey officiating. Burial will follow in the Oaklawn Cemetery located at Batesville with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service.Visitation will begin Friday, February 6, 2009 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.
