Mary W. Cahill Ford, age 95 of Cave City died Sunday, February 8, 2009 at Cave City. She was born September 4, 1913 at Willard, Missouri to John and Berenice Shoemaker Cahill. She was a homemaker and attended Drury College in Springfield, Missouri. She was a member of the Gideon's International, United Methodist Women, American Legion Auxiliary and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Cave City. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ted C. Ford, two sisters, Juanita Cahill Bromley and Winifred Cahill McCord.Survivors include two daughters, Patsy Jane Nelson and husband Darrell and Ann Rosier and husband Don all of Cave City, one sister-in-law, Jane Ford of Batesville, three grandsons, Eric Nelson of Paragould, Neal Rosier of Cave City and Jonathan Rosier of Pensacola, Florida, two granddaughters, Rebecca Nelson Adams of Cave City and Cynthia Nelson Converse of Pangburn, twelve great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.Funeral services will begin Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Cave City with Rev. Blake Langston officiating. Burial will follow in the Oaklawn Cemetery located at Batesville with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. Visitation will begin Tuesday, February 10, 2009 from 6;00 until 8:00 p.m.Pallbeaerers will be Reid Womack, Jerry McCall, Jon Patterson, Chris Laman, Jim Harper and Colonel Marlin.Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Mike Higginbottom, Stanley Taylor and Charles Landers.In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church in Cave City.
