Mary E. Pearce

Mary E. Pearce, age 83 of Cave City died Sunday, February 15, 2009 at a Searcy hospital. She was born June 17, 1925 at Royal, Arkansas to John and Mary Muzik Weatherford. She had worked at UniFirst in Cave City, was a Granny at the Cave City Elementary School and a member of the East Side Southern Baptist Church in Cave City.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband William Calvin Pearce, two daughters, Mary Savage and Lydia Branscum and three brothers, James Weatherford, Paul Weatherford and Wilburn Weatherford.Survivors include one grandson, Yancy Branscum of Pleasant Plains, two great grandsons Marshall Branscum and Trace Branscum both of Pleasant Plains and a host of other relatives and friends.Funeral services will begin Wednesday, February 18, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Bro. Bobby Sanders officiating. Burial will follow in the Cave City Cemetery with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.Visitation will begin Wednesday, February 18, 2009 from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel.Pallbearers will be Yancy Branscum, Larry Branscum, Jim Smith, Matt Foster, Shane Martin and Brian Brown.
