Chuckie Lee Corter, age 54 of Pleasant Plains died Sunday, March 22, 2009 at the White County Medical Center in Searcy. He was born January 1, 1955 at Crystal Springs, Florida to Henry Everett and Mary Lou Birmingham Corter. He was of the Pentecostal faith.He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, William Ray Corter.Survivors include his wife, Kathy Corter of the home, two sons, Steven Barnhouse and James Corter both of Pleasant Plains, five daughters, Kelly Weaver of Pleasant Plains, Lisa Corter of Judsonia, Jessica Barnhouse of Alexander, Louisiana, Michelle Hicks of Searcy and Kathy Collins of Pangburn, five brothers, Jerry Dwayne Corter, Larry Dale Corter, Ronnie Dean Corter and Charles Everett Corter all of Pleasant Plains and Ricky Allen Corter of Pangburn, six sisters Barbara Neal of Poplar, California, Bonnie Hicks of Pangburn, Betty Lou Boss of Cave City, Shirley Bell Corter, Roxanne Davis and Jessica James all of Batesville, twenty-two grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
