Gladys E. Reeves

Gladys E. Reeves age 87 of Cave City died Thursday April 2, 2009 at her home. She was born May 27, 1921 at Salem, Missouri to Albert Henry and Alice Beatrice (Cloak) Schmitt. She was a homemaker and a member of the Shepherd's Chapel in Gravette, Arkansas.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Lorenzo Dillon Reeves, one infant daughter, two brothers, George Schmitt and Albert Schmitt, one sister, Alma Blanke and one infant granddaughter, Christmas Eve Rutherford.Survivors include one son, Billy L. Reeves of Covington, Georgia, four daughters, Betty Maxine Naile of Benton, Joyce Lee Smith, Jean Marie Milligan and Shirley Ann Rothenberger all of Cave City, fourteen grandchildren, twenty-six great grandchildren, five great great grandchildren, a nephew, George Phillip Wright of Rolla, Missouri, several other nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.A visitation will be held on Saturday April 4, 2009 from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home in Cave City. Private interment will be at the Eutopia Cemetery located west of Cave City. Arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
