Betty Lea (Traw) Whited age 66 of Evening Shade died Saturday April 25, 2009 at her home.She was born November 8, 1942 at Wirth, Arkansas to Robert Lee and Maggie Iola (Athey) Traw. She was united in marriage to Junior Glenn Whited on May 9, 1959. She was a CNA, a homemaker and an active member of the Ash Flat Church of Christ. She enjoyed her family, gardening, her roses and fishing.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sisters, two brothers and a daughter-in-law.Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Crystal Whited of Cherokee Village, Michael and Vickie Whited of Horseshoe Bend and Glenn Whited of Reno, Nevada, one daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Charlie Conway of Evening Shade, one brother, Charles Traw of Batesville, one sister, Ann Houpt of Corning, New York, nine grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.Funeral services will begin Tuesday April 28, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Ash Flat Church of Christ with Keith Gregson officiating. Burial will follow in the Evening Shade Cemetery located at Evening Shade with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.Visitation will begin Monday April 27, 2009 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.Pallbearers will be Curtis Hollinger, Dennis Clough, David Neitch Sr., David Henry, Mitchell Eversoll and Rodney Busch.Honorary pallbearers are Jeff Stephens and Chaney Emerich.
