Pearl Milligan Boyd, age 90, of Oppelo, died Tuesday, April 28, 2009, at the Perry County Nursing Center in Perryville. She was born December 18, 1918, at Calamine, Arkansas, to Henry Asberry and Rosie Viola (Anderson) Milligan. She was a homemaker and a member of the Grace Baptist Church in Conway.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert Boyd; two daughters, Lena Faye Kunkel and Wilma Lois Boyd; four brothers, Lee Milligan, Walter Milligan, Lois Joe Milligan, and Lowell Roe Milligan and one sister, Eddie Faye Floyd.Survivors include one daughter, Betty King of Oppelo; one brother, Glenn Milligan of Cave City; one sister, Retha Russo of Cave City; three grandchildren, Donald Ray Kunkel of Danville, Kenneth Wayne Kunkel of Greenbrier, and Michael Lynn Kunkel of Evening Shade; three great-grandchildren, Calvin Kunkel of Danville, Travis Kunkel and Sara Kunkel, both of Greenbrier; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.Funeral services will begin Friday, May 1, 2009, at 2:00 p.m., at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel located in Cave City with Bro. Harold Boyd officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery located at Cave City with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. Visitation will begin Thursday, April 30, 2009, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.
