William Ray Jean age 90 of Ozark, Missouri (formerly of Cave City) died Sunday May 3, 2009 at his home. He was born January 25, 1919 at Eaton, Arkansas to William and Ina (Montgomery) Jean. He was a U. S. Army veteran having served during WWII and a retired U.S. Government employee having retired from the ASCS office in Pocahontas. He was a member of the Ozark United Methodist Church in Ozark, Missouri.He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Olive Maxine (Adams) Jean, one brother, Elton Jean and one sister, Faye Arnold.Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Kim Jean of Ozark, Missouri, one brother, Elbert Jean of Bowling Green, Kentucky, four grandchildren, Tera Jean, Cody Jean, Marcus Jean and Sarah Jean all of Ozark, Missouri, one great grandchild, Curran McAdams of Ozark, Missouri, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.Graveside services will begin Friday May 8, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. at the Old Lebanon Cemetery located near Lynn with Elbert Jean officiating. Arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.No visitation is planned.
