Gerldine Gilmer Davenport age 74 of Cave City died Monday May 4, 2009 at the White River Medical Center in Batesville. She was born December 7, 1934 at Manila, Arkansas to Clayton Eugene and X L (Stanfield) Nimmo. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Assembly of God in Cave City.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James Alvin Gilmer and one son, James Bruce Gilmer.Survivors include two sons, John Henry Gilmer of Hardy and Gary Wayne Gilmer of Pleasant Plains; three daughters, Sandra Gann of Poughkeepsie, Jerry Bevill of Cabot and Mary Gann of Batesville, fourteen grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.Funeral services will begin Thursday May 7, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Bro. Jim Pagan officiating. Graveside services will follow at 2:00 p.m at the Shiloh Cemetery located in Jonesboro. Arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.Visitation will begin Wednesday May 6, 2009 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.Pallbearers will be Billy Collins, Barry Collins, Jon Gann, Ira Gann Jr., Tommy Pagan and Brent Gilmer.Honorary pallbearers are Ben Bevill and Ira Gann Sr.
