Inez Kent Dickey age 91 of Cave City died Tuesday May 12, 2009 at the White River Medical Center in Batesville. She was born May 27, 1917 at Sidney, Arkansas to Walter L. and Lottie Boles Kent. She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family. She was a member of the First Missionary Baptist Church in Cave City.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Homer Dickey, one son, Lonnie Dickey and three sisters, Lessie Kent Runsick, Bonnie Kent Runsick and Irene Kent.Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law Barbara and Murray Stauffer of Cherokee Village and Geri and Ray Taylor of Cave City; one brother, Sidney R. Kent of Logansport, Indiana; six grandchildren and spouses, Vincent Provenzano of Batesville, Sharon and Randy Avila of San Marcos, California, Keith and Melissa Taylor of Poughkeepsie, Tracey Taylor of Parker, Colorado, Stacey and Marshal Davis of Brighton, Tennessee and Dustin and Shaun Dickey of Batesville; five great grandchildren, Nathan Hodges, Ethan Taylor, Eli Taylor, Alexander Avila and Briana Avila, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.Funeral services will begin Thursday May 14, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Bro. Ron Canard officiating. Burial will follow in the Cave City Cemetery located at Cave City with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.No visitation is planned.Pallbearers will be Dustin Dickey, Keith Taylor, Marshal Davis, Nathan Hodges, Vincent Provenzano and Brian Garland.
