Ronald Lee 'Dude' Shults age 55 of Batesville, Arkansas died Friday, May 15, 2009 at the White River Medical Center in Batesville. He was born June 6, 1953 at Kerrville, Texas to L.C. and Maydell (morris) Shults. He was a carpenter and a member of the Cedar Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Cave City, Arkansas.He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Melissa Shults, two brothers, Lonnie Shults and James Daniel Goff and three sisters, Betty Jo Cooksey, Renda Harris, and Linda Tremper.Survivors include two daughters, Anna Shults and April Brooks both of Batesville, Arkansas, three sisters, Teresa Gage of Ingram, Texas, Nora Crider and Lea Crider both of Centerpoint, Texas, two grandsons, Matthew Brooks and Wade Brooks both of Batesville, Arkansas, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.Graveside memorial services will be held Saturday June 6, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at the Nichols Cemetery located at Kerrville, Texas. Arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville, Arkansas.No visitation is planned.
