Steve Davis

Steve Davis (Harris) age 60 of the Hutchinson Mountain Community died Friday July 10, 2009 at the White River Medical Center in Batesville. He was born December 15, 1948 at Batesville, Arkansas, the son of John and Betty Harris. He was of the Pentecostal faith and attended Cave Creek Church of God.He was preceded in death by his wife, Merle Davis; his father, John Harris and one brother, Ronnie Harris.Survivors include his mother, Betty White of Cushman, one son, Michael McSpadden; six brothers, Don Eugene Harris of Newport, John Keith Harris of Missouri, James Allen Harris, Ricky Charles Harris and Scotty Lee Harris all of the Hutchinson Mountain Community and Michael Bruce Harris of Pleasant Plains; one sister, Lisa Easter of Rogers; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.Funeral services will begin Monday July 13, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel in Batesville with Bro. Kenny Tharp and Bro. Eric Downs officiating. Burial will follow in the Palestine Cemetery located in the Hutchinson Mountain Community with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville. Visitation will begin Sunday July 12, 2009 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.Pallbearers will be his nephews.
