Buna Irene Cargill

Buna Irene Cargill, age 88 of Batesville died Friday, August 21, 2009 at a Batesville nursing home. She was born October 21, 1920 at Salem, Arkansas to James and Dollie Dodd. She was a beautician and of the Church of Christ faith.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Bernard Lee Cargill, one son Bernard Lee Cargill, Jr., one brother T. J. Dodd and five sisters, Elizabeth Smith, Vivian Hill, Georgia Nance, Ella Faye Dodd and Leona Dodd.Survivors include one son Jim Cargill of Batesville, one daughter, Judy Sturdivant of Vilonia, Arkansas, one brother, Sherril Dodd of Pea Ridge, three grandchildren, Eric Sturdivant of Vilonia, Mark Sturdivant of Dallas, Texas, Tricia Snell of Batesville, five great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
