Darrell Morris Hunt age 77 of Cave City died Sunday August 30, 2009 at the White River Medical Center in Batesville. He was born August 23, 1932 at Huntsville, Alabama. He was retired from Gencorp Automotive in Batesville and also was a retired drywall installer. He was of the Baptist faith.He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Gladys Hunt.Survivors include his wife, Joyce Hunt of the home;one son, Darrell Morris Hunt, Jr.; one daughter, Rhonda Gail Clark of Newark; three step-sons, James Hawkins of Crawfordsville, Florida, David Grimes of Batesville and Mike Grimes of Searcy; four step-daughters, Debra Balser of Rosie, Gwen Woods and Brenda Keller both of Cave City and Terri Grimes of Chicago, Illinois; two brothers, Bobby Hunt and Gerald Hunt both of Alabama; eighteen grandchildren, five great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and host of other relatives and friends.Funeral services will begin Wednesday, September 2, 2009, at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel in Batesville with Dan Fugett officiating. Burial will follow in the Young Cemetery located on Antioch Road near Cave City with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville.No visitation is planned.Pallbearers will be Michael Balser, Michael Carlton, Justin Keller, Adam Grimes, Roger Balser and Jonathan Keller.
