Ida May O'Neal, age 86 of Cave City died Friday, September 25, 2009 at the Wood-Lawn Nursing Home in Batesville. She was born May 11, 1923 at Crowley County, Colorado to Aarel and Faye Lehmann Moody. She was a homemaker, a farmer and a member of the Cave City Church of Christ.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband George C. O'Neal, a brother, Wayne Moody and two sisters Ina Waters and Lola Marie Bailey.Survivors include one son Tim J. O'Neal of Batesville, two daughters, Jami Jo Rider of Locust Grove and Kandi Kae Garrett of Cave City, two granddaughters, Kelsi May Garrett of Cave City and Erin Elisabeth Rider of Locust Grove, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.Funeral services will begin Tuesday, September 29, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Ralph Wallis and Dean Fugett officiating. Burial will follow in the Maxville Cemetery located north of Cave City with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.Visitation will begin Monday, September 28, 2009 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be Clyde Cossey, Barry Wilkes, Eugene Dowell, A. W. Fairchild, Lee Garrett and John Garrett.Honorary pallbearers are Glen Hibbits, Ernie Stitcher and Don Lewis and Curtis Scott.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Maude Carpenter Children's Home, 1501 N.
