Imogene Sandefur

Imogene Sandefur, age 82 of Wynne, died Friday, October 16, 2009 at Wynne. She was born July 1, 1927 at Okfuskee, Oklahoma, to Acie Leander and Minnie Jewel (Maxwell) Smart. She was retired from the Addison Shoe Factory in Wynne and a member of the Ridgeview Baptist Church in Wynne.She was receded in death by her parents; her husband, Kenneth Sandefur; and two brothers, Raymond Smart and Eddie Smart.Survivors include two sons, Gary Ray Sandefur of Desha and Keith Allen Sandefur of Wynne; two daughters, Barbara Jean Owens and Sharon Kay Holbrook both of Wynne; one sister, Lillie Mae Morgan of Sulphur Rock; twenty-one grandchildren; twenty-six great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.Funeral services will begin Sunday, October 18, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel with Dean Holbrook and Caleb Holbrook officiating. Burial will follow in the Center Grove Cemetery located at Charlotte with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville.Visitation will begin Saturday, October 17, 2009 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.Pallbearers will be Rodney Sandefur, Chris Holbrook, Kevin Holbrook, Jerrod Sandefur, Chase Peevey and Dustin Hodge.Honorary pallbearers are Dillon Hodge, Caleb Holbrook, Chayne Cardwell and Lance Cardwell.
