Brenda Hartley

Brenda Hartley, age 63 of Batesville died Thursday, November 5, 2009 at the White River Medical Center in Batesville. She was born March 9, 1946 at Lynn, Arkansas to James William and Vena Patricia (Christopher) Sanders. She was a homemaker, enjoyed gardening and was of the Baptist faith.She was preceded in death by her father, James William Sanders and her husband Jimmy Hartley.Survivors include a son Billy Hartley of Batesville, a daughter, Tammy Lewis of Batesville, her mother Vena Patricia Sanders of Lynn, a brother Seth Sanders of Lynn, three sisters, Vena Petero of Black Rock, Carmella Blevins of Lynn and Reeba Schrair of Cave City, seven grandchildren, Matthew Hartley of Little Rock, Danielle Hartley and Amanda Edwards both of Southside, Kelly Hartley and Jacob Hartley both of Batesville, Brittany Hartley of Floral and Krissy Gavin of Southside, six great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.Funeral services will begin Sunday, November 8, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel with Bro. David Wesley officiating. Burial will follow in the Maple Springs Cemetery located at Maple Springs with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service. Visitation will be Saturday, November 7, 2009 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.Pallbearers will be Billy Hartley, Seth Sanders, Earl Lewis, Keith Young, James Sanders and James Edwards.Honorary pallbearers will be Randy Whitlow, B. J. Ward, Clarence Petero, Mike Schrair and Sam Blevins.
