Barrett Jerone Rogers

Barrett Jerone 'B.J.' Rogers, age 37 of Pocahontas, died Thursday, December 17, 2009 at his home. He was born April 28, 1972 at Batesville, Arkansas, to Billy J. and Barbara Hutchison Rogers. He was a musician and of the Baptist faith.He was preceded in death by his grandparents, W.B. Hutchison, and Herbert and Ruby Rogers, and his great grandparents, Amos and Stella Palmer.Survivors include his parents, Billy and Barbara Rogers of Pocahontas; one brother, Aaron W. Rogers of Conway; his grandmother, Lorene Hutchison of Batesville, and a host of other relatives and friends.Funeral service will begin Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Bro. Eddie Hodges officiating and Aaron Rogers delivering the eulogy. Burial will follow in the Cave Creek Cemetery located north of Batesville with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.Visitation will be Tuesday, December 22, 2009, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.Pallbearers will be Allen Wolfe, Shannon Rounds, Marcus Hutchison, Stacey Hutchison, Ricky Bramlett and Mike Foster.
