James Franklin Hudson

James Franklin Hudson, age 88 of Pleasant Plains died Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at his home. He was born May 10, 1921 at Comanche, Texas to Walter Eugene and Margaret Etta Wright Hudson. He retired from the United States Army as Master Sergeant and was of the Methodist faith.He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Ursi Hudson and two sisters, Altha Hudson and Anita Hudson.Survivors include a daughter, Connie Hudson of South Carolina, a brother Earl Hudson of Shallow Water, Texas, fours sisters Lela Honkonen of Batesville, Alice Moon of El Dorado, Creta Mertz of Oil City, Pennsylvania and Aline Hudson of Colorado, a grandson and a host of other relatives and friends.Funeral services will begin Friday, January 1, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel with Asa Whitaker speaking. Burial will follow in the Cedar Grove Cemetery located in the Cedar Grove Community with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville.Visitation will be Friday, January 1, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel.
