Frankie C. Chastain

Frankie C. (Morrison) Chastain, age 81 of Timbo died Monday, January 4, 2010 at a Batesville hospital. She was born August 18, 1928 at Jonesboro, Arkansas to Claude and Carra (Passmore) Morrison. She was an accountant for J C Penney in Lamar, Colorado and Austin, Texas, a homemaker and a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Timbo.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband William B. Chastain, a daughter Sandra K. Prather and two brothers, Doris Morrison, Curtis Morrison and an infant brother, Rasbogard Morrison.Survivors include two sons Stephen Dashner and Stanley Dashner of Timbo, five brothers, Luther Morrison, Autry Morrison and Burtis Morrison of Timbo, Max Morrison of Chicago, Illinois and Jesse Morrison of Oakhurst, California, one sister, Wilma Heavner of Timbo, five grandchildren, Monique Dashner of Timbo, Natassja Scranton of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, Marlow Prather of Aurora, Colorado, Geoffrey Dashner of Travis Air Force Base, California and Matthew Dashner of Denver, Colorado, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.Funeral services will begin Saturday, January 9, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Calvary Baptist Church located in Timbo with Bro. Danny Robbins officiating. Burial will follow in the Kuykendall Cemetery located on Hwy. 66, west of Oxley with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service.Visitation will begin Saturday, January 9, 2010 from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the Calvary Baptist Church in Timbo.
