Wanda A. Jones

Wanda A. Jones age 79 of Concord died Tuesday January 12, 2010 at the White River Medical Center in Batesville. She was born August 22, 1930 at San Antonio, Texas to Clarence and Eula Mae (Smoot) Holland. She was retired from Power Technology in Little Rock.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Lamon Jones, one brother, Kenneth Holland and one sister, Belva Gaconnet.Survivors include three sons, Gary McGarity of Bauxite, Nathan McGarity of Greenville, Missouri and James McGarity of Jacksonville, four daughters, Loretta Thirion of Sheridan, Roxie Belden of Jacksonville, Linda Pollack of Boca Raton, Florida and Kim Polston of Bauxite, one brother, Marvin Holland of Little Rock, one sister, Mildred Miller of Little Rock, nineteen grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville.No visitation is planned.
