Mary Cecilia Bradley Brown, age 82 of Cave City died Thursday, January 21, 2010 at a Batesville hospital. She was born November 27, 1927 at Poughkeepsie, Arkansas to Ewin and Alice Carey Bradley. She was retired from Firestone/Bridgestone in Noblesville, Indiana and was a member of the First Missionary Baptist Church in Cave City.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Owen E. Brown, three brothers, Glen Bradley, Clell Bradley and Fonce Bradley and one sister Blanch Johnson.Survivors include two daughters, Glenna Carter and husband Gene of Madison, Alabama and Rhonda Barber and husband Richard of Cave City, one brother Paul 'Shorty' Bradley of Kokomo, Indiana, two grandchildren, Melinda Mitchell and husband Jerry of Ardmore, Tennessee and Rusty Carter of Madison, Alabama, two great grandchildren, Madison Mitchell and Kaya Mitchell of Ardmore, Tennessee, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.Funeral services will begin Monday, January 25, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Missionary Baptist Church at Cave City with Bro. Wayne Goodman and Bro. Nathan Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery located east of Cave City with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.Visitation will be Sunday, January 24, 2010 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m.Pallbearers will be Ben Brown, Larry Brown, Richard Bradley, Neil Smith, Keith Bates and Bill Bradley.Honorary pallbearer is Dr. Thomas Cummins.
